Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise, all while collaborating with various teams to enhance database functionality and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training sessions for junior team members to enhance their skills. - Monitor database performance and implement improvements as necessary. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration - SAP HANA DB Administration can be added advantage. - Strong understanding of HANA database management systems and their architecture. - Experience with database backup and recovery techniques. - Plan and execute sap basis upgrade projects of s/4hana, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system efficiency. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues. - Strong knowledge on Installation (HANA DB, Application and webdispatcher). - Must have knowledge on system performance tuning. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - Client interview is mandatory - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
