Our Decision Science practitioners use Industry & Functional domain expertise to design and implement AI based decision-making frameworks and models to drive insights for decision making to solve business challenges.
Additionally, our Banking and Cap Markets AI and Data Science practitioners will be working across client business groups (Wealth, Commercial, Retail) and Customer Lifecycle interactions, originations to collections. We provide the deep industry experience, the functional insights, the AI and data power to help our clients make important changes. Through our AI & Data capabilities we focus on Financial Risk, Non-Financial Risk, Compliance, Controls and Transformation we solve our client’s toughest problems to get ready for the future.
As an AI & Data Decision Science Manager or Senior Manager, you will:
- Lead the delivery of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics initiatives / programs
- Manage teams both onshore and offshore across Data Science & Machine Learning
- Understand and be able to bridge between business and technical domains (for both internal and external purpose)
- Engage with business and analytics stakeholders to build and maintain relationships
- Lead the sales process, originate, and lead sales solutioning for Data Science & Machine Learning related opportunities.
- Assess risk and develop mitigation strategies. Customize Data Science / Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence / Analytics models and solutions for specific business problems within an industry or function.
- Collaborate across Accenture’s network and partner with strategy, consulting, and tech teams in the sales and delivery processes.
- Develop Data Science/Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence talent within the organization.
- Identify AI use cases in an industry and/or function by understanding an organization's goals and areas of need, developing the business case, determining ROI, and creating the transformation roadmap.
- Advise organization on adoption of responsible AI solutions and governance by training users on new processes, maintaining solutions, tracking results, and communicating the realized value.
- Stay on top of how new regulations and technologies affect our clients’ businesses – and ours.

Here’s What You Need:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or Advanced Analytics.
5+ years of working in Banking & Capital Markets with experience in one or more of the following:
- Customer Behavior Risk Analytics
- Commercial Banking Analytics
- Compliance: Financial Crime - AML, KYC, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring; Fraud, consumer protection
- Finance: forecasting and planning, balance sheet management, treasury management
- Risk: financial risk management; non-financial risk management including technology risk, third party, resiliency, enterprise & operational risk; risk governance
- Controls & Audit: platform controls, control design, issue and control remediation, automation, testing and monitoring
- GenAI: deployment and governance
- Model Risk Management frameworks and automation
Experience should include one or more of the following:
- Developing and advising on risk analytics, operationalizing analytics and business rules in real time environments
- IT and business industry-specific regulations and the mapping of those across policy, risk, control and issue spectrum
Nice to Have:
- 5+ years of experience building decision-based frameworks and models to drive insights.
- 5+ years of high value consulting experience or equivalent internal consulting experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading workstreams and meeting deadlines.
- 5+ years of large-scale delivery experience with minimal help.
- Proven track record of leading data-driven projects and teams.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong program management experience with expert decision-making and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in sales and business development. Driven and entrepreneurial: ability to originate and shape new deals, lead in client conversations, and go to market activities.
- Excellent leadership and people skills: proven ability to build effective teams and foster a collaborative and inclusive environment and proven ability to build strong client relationships.
- You have experience bringing innovative ideas to projects.
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- GenAI and governance experience
- Board reporting
- For banking, capital markets and/or insurance industries, working knowledge of Basel Accord, Dodd Frank, FBO, FINRA, SEC, FinCEN, OCC, FDIC, CCAR, etc.
- Operating model and transformation experience from front- and back-office
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
