THE WORK:
- You'll prepare comprehensive scopes, RFPs, and manage project budgets.
- You'll create and manage correspondence, RFIs, Change Orders, and payment applications.
- You'll administer the Construction Contract from inception through closeout and advise the client on related matters.
- You'll manage construction scheduling, sequencing, anticipate long-lead items, and monitor critical paths.
- You'll interface with local building departments for permits and coordinate project closeout with officials.
- You'll motivate, develop, and maintain subcontractor engagement throughout the project.
- You'll verify and validate General Contractor receipt of OFCI equipment and enforce health and safety onsite.
- You'll schedule and conduct Owner, Architect, and CM meetings, including preparing and distributing minutes.
- You'll review jobsite progress for quality and compliance, and report cost, schedule, risk, and quality issues to leadership.
- You'll hold weekly production and safety meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related field is a plus
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Construction Project Management
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience working in hyper-scale data centers is a plus
- Thorough and complete knowledge of the construction process and management techniques, methods, and materials.
- Outstanding negotiating skills
- Team player with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Organized and detail oriented
