THE WORK:
- You’ll lead and execute the regional growth strategy for Program and Construction Management services supporting transit and major transportation infrastructure.
- You’ll serve as the firm’s executive client lead for key Northern California transit agencies and municipal clients.
- You’ll identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, including overseeing capture planning, pursuit strategy, teaming, and executive‑level interviews.
- You’ll strengthen and expand relationships with public‑sector owners, decision‑makers, and industry partners, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.
- You’ll provide executive oversight of major programs to ensure excellence in schedule, cost, risk management, constructability, and stakeholder coordination.
- You’ll build, mentor, and lead high‑performing teams while developing future leaders within the organization.
- You’ll collaborate with firm leadership to align regional initiatives with enterprise‑wide strategic objectives.
- You’ll represent the firm externally through industry leadership, participation in professional organizations, and engagement in regional forums.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Minimum 20 years of experience in program management, construction management, or major infrastructure delivery, with a strong focus on transit and public-sector projects
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Established relationships with BART and other Bay Area transit agencies (e.g., VTA, Caltrain, SFMTA, AC Transit, Capitol Corridor)
- Experience supporting FTA-funded programs, alternative delivery methods, and large capital improvement programs
- Recognized industry presence and thought leadership within the Northern California transportation market
- Demonstrated success in executive-level business development and client relationship management
- Deep understanding of public-agency procurement, governance, and funding environments
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary teams and manage large, high-visibility programs
- Strong professional network across both public and private sectors in Northern California
