Apple is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Manager to lead our Worldwide Enterprise Strategy for the Retail sector. This critical role will be responsible for defining, driving, and executing a comprehensive go-tomarket strategy to maximize Apple's significant addressable opportunity in this industry. You will leverage external market data to inform and implement a disciplined direct + partner-led coverage model, focusing on driving Apple platform standardization and scalable global growth. This role is pivotal in concentrating Apple's enterprise talent where leverage is highest, creating industry gravity, and enabling scalable global coverage without disproportionate sales headcount growth.
Strategic Development & Execution: Develop, refine, and champion the Worldwide enterprise strategy for Retail, identifying key market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and growth vectors to capture the ~$24-26B annualized hardware revenue opportunity. Direct Coverage Leadership: Lead the strategy and execution for directly engaging the Top 50 global companies in Retail, driving Apple platform standardization across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Partner Ecosystem Growth: Oversee the strategy for scaling market coverage through robust channel and partner-led motions for the long-tail market (30,000+ banks, insurers, and retailers globally). Develop vertical playbooks "Apple for Regional Retail", security/deployment reference architectures, financing/lifecycle simplification programs, and partner certification/co-marketing initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Apple's Industry Leadership, Enterprise Sales, Partner Teams, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Finance organizations to ensure alignment and lead the successful execution of the strategy. Market Analysis & Insights: Continuously analyze market data, Total Addressable Market (TAM), and revenue opportunities, making data-driven recommendations to optimize strategy and achieve business objectives. Platform Standardization & Value Proposition: Drive initiatives to position Apple as the secure enterprise endpoint, frontline experience platform, and trusted device identity layer within target organizations, focusing on multidevice penetration and repeatable reference architectures. Performance Measurement: Define and track key success metrics, including percentage of the Top 50 standardized on Apple, devices per employee, multi-year refresh and lifecycle lock-in, and partner-led revenue velocity. Executive Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with CIO, CISO, and COO-level executives, and be seen as the industry expert both internally and externally for Retail. Leadership: Directly lead a multi-geo small team of ecosystem experts to execute the global retail strategy along with indirectly leading a large cross-functional number of Apple resources needed for your plan to be successful.
