We are seeking a technical expert to help safeguard Apple’s most innovative and disruptive technologies. In this vital role, you will shape the secrecy and security solutions that empower teams across the company to maintain strict confidentiality while driving technological progress. Bringing your functional expertise and passion to the New Product Security (NPS) team, you will oversee the program management of a complex, global hardware and software protection portfolio.
As a Secrecy Program Manager, you will own the strategy and execution that allows Apple to announce our greatest products and features on our own terms. This role requires proven leadership, exceptional communication, and a highly collaborative approach to preventing leaks during New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Lead and develop cross-functional teams to drive large-scale, technical secrecy initiatives from concept to global rollout.
  • Provide dedicated, day-to-day security support and guidance to hardware technology teams.
  • Develop, refine, and implement global policies and initiatives designed to prevent leaks of unreleased products.
  • Track program metrics and deliver clear, actionable performance reporting to partners and stakeholders at all levels of the company.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, raising key issues proactively and presenting viable options for resolution.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 15+ years of experience in project management or operations, with a proven track record of leading global cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives on time.
  • 8+ years of specialized experience managing the security and confidentiality of New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Ability to overcome setbacks by seamlessly adapting methods, priorities, and plans to keep projects on track.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations to Senior and Executive Leadership.
  • Strong autonomy, with the ability to execute complex tasks and make decisions with minimal outside direction or supervision.
  • Practical understanding of security processes and risk frameworks, gained through roles in operations risk management, physical security, information security, law enforcement, intelligence, or inventory management and loss prevention.
  • Experience working within a multinational company, specifically handling global manufacturing operations and related issues.
  • History of successful, cross-functional engagement with advanced technology development teams.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, international, large-scale, and time-critical projects that involve multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate both the big picture strategic vision and the granular details.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating critical thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong aptitude for technical solutions, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,300 and $263,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
