As a core part of the Apple ecosystem, iCloud helps people stay connected to the content that matters most across all of their devices while keeping their information private. iCloud as a consumer subscription service is at a pivotal moment in its evolution, expanding beyond its current storage capabilities into a richer and more intelligent set of experiences that deliver even greater value for customers. We are seeking an exceptional senior business leader to define iCloud’s growth strategy in this next phase, influencing product vision and accelerating subscriber growth.
You’ll shape iCloud’s multi-year go-to-market and product strategy while owning global business performance and P&L outcomes. This is a role for a leader who combines sharp business acumen and technical credibility with the strategic foresight to see beyond today’s systems to influence diverse stakeholders around a unified vision. You are deeply curious and informed about global markets, technology and AI trends yet you remain anchored on building experiences that create meaningful value for end users. Success in this role requires a relentless focus on product craft, ensuring that every strategic decision and detail reflects Apple’s standards.
- Hold full accountability for global growth targets, delivering regular performance insights to executive leadership while ensuring high impact initiatives are prioritized, thoughtfully designed, and executed against.
- Define long term growth strategy while driving near term roadmap execution for iCloud, identifying opportunities to accelerate subscriber growth, engagement, retention, and customer value.
- Lead by influence across Apple's complex matrix organization, building deep relationships with Product Marketing, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Finance and teams across the Services organization.
- Translate growth strategy into roadmap requirements ensuring alignment between long-term vision and near-term execution across diverse stakeholders
- Set the vision for the ongoing evolution of the subscription offering and business model, balancing customer experience, ecosystem value, and business performance
- Develop comprehensive growth strategies for international markets, with particular focus on emerging and high-potential regions.
- Anticipate competitive shifts and industry trends to position iCloud for long-term growth and differentiation.
- Develop a team of managers, fostering high performance and strong cross-functional partnership.
- Communicate recommendations clearly and persuasively to senior leadership, including executive audiences.
- 10-15+ years of experience in product management, growth strategy, or business leadership in high scale consumer environments.
- Proven experience leading large-scale growth, monetization, or business strategy initiatives for consumer technology products or services.
- Track record leading teams that effectively collaborate with product, engineering, design, and marketing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business strategies and translate them into actionable plans with measurable business results.
- Experience leading or collaborating across global geographies, with the ability to build processes that surface diverse perspectives and market needs.
- Experience positioning and launching consumer software products or platforms at global scale, with demonstrated business impact.
- Capacity to lead high level executives through influence, debate, and focusing on what’s best for the business and Apple customers.
- Proven ability to move fluidly between highly technical engineering conversations and high-level business strategy, credibly owning both and knowing when to defer to expertise.
- Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and written communication skills capable of holding up to Apple's highest standards.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- MBA or equivalent strategic leadership experience.
