Job Description

The Team

The Cint Technology team is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our international Measurement team. This position is for a software engineer who likes challenges. Our business has been doubling in the last few years and so our systems need to scale to accommodate this growth.

What You Will Do

Our ideal candidate considers themselves among the highly technical and likes to push the limits of their knowledge and experience every day. In this role, you will work on designing, implementing, scaling, and maintaining the code that powers our production systems. You will work with no supervision, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. You will communicate and work closely across teams and with related areas like product and data science. With great freedom to innovate, you will play a key role in world-class research building the next generation of Cint products.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of hands-on professional backend software development experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Proficient programming skills in Python or Java and comfortable maintaining code in both languages

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks

  • Experience with API integration and best practices

  • Comfortable dealing with system complexity

  • Great sense of ownership

  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Questions status quo and bring innovative solutions to engineering and product needs

  • Influence architecture and decisions cross teams ensuring robust, scalable and costly efficient solutions

  • Enjoys working as part of a team and as a mentor providing constructive feedback

  • Comfortable with making decisions based on data and best practices

  • Outstanding communication skills to guide cross functional collaboration

  • Background in data analytics tools such as Spark, Hive, Databricks, or similar

  • Familiarity with observability strategies

  • Experience with AWS, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL

Additional Information

Anticipated Salary Range (US Only):
In California, Colorado, New York City and Washington, the anticipated pay range for this role is $160,000 to $200,000 annual base salary. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition, this position is also eligible for the following benefits:
