Oracle PaaS, APEX full-stack, PL/SQL, web services integration, page security

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, build, and deploy custom APEX applications to complement Oracle SaaS modules (e.g., approval dashboards, transaction monitoring tools, audit support UIs)

• Implement responsive UIs, validations, dynamic actions, and process flows

Data Integration & Access

• Integrate APEX applications with Oracle SaaS Cloud via REST APIs, BIP Web Services, or secured DB links to ADW (Autonomous Database Warehouse)

• Develop secure interfaces for real-time and batch data exchange

Performance Optimization & Tuning

• Optimize PL/SQL code and APEX pages for high performance and scalability

• Implement caching strategies and monitor session utilization

Security & Compliance

• Apply Oracle Cloud security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption)

• Implement row-level and role-based access control in APEX apps

Code Management & Documentation

• Follow SDLC practices including code versioning (Git), deployment automation, and change tracking

• Prepare technical documentation including design specs, user guides, and test plans

Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Guide junior developers in APEX best practices and solution design

• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business needs and translate into technical solutions

Requirements & Preferred experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development

• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS

• Experience integrating APEX apps with Oracle SaaS ERP using REST APIs and secure authentication methods

• Strong understanding of Oracle SaaS data structures and metadata (e.g., tables exposed via OTBI, BIP, and Oracle Cloud Services)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
