Oracle PaaS, APEX full-stack, PL/SQL, web services integration, page security
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
-
Design, build, and deploy custom APEX applications to complement Oracle SaaS modules (e.g., approval dashboards, transaction monitoring tools, audit support UIs)

Implement responsive UIs, validations, dynamic actions, and process flows
Data Integration & Access
-
Integrate APEX applications with Oracle SaaS Cloud via REST APIs, BIP Web Services, or secured DB links to ADW (Autonomous Database Warehouse)
-
Develop secure interfaces for real-time and batch data exchange
Performance Optimization & Tuning
-
Optimize PL/SQL code and APEX pages for high performance and scalability

Implement caching strategies and monitor session utilization
Security & Compliance
-
Apply Oracle Cloud security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption)
-
Implement row-level and role-based access control in APEX apps
Code Management & Documentation
-
Follow SDLC practices including code versioning (Git), deployment automation, and change tracking
-
Prepare technical documentation including design specs, user guides, and test plans
Team Collaboration & Leadership
-
Guide junior developers in APEX best practices and solution design
-
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business needs and translate into technical solutions
Requirements & Preferred experience
-
6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development
-
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
-
Experience integrating APEX apps with Oracle SaaS ERP using REST APIs and secure authentication methods
-
Strong understanding of Oracle SaaS data structures and metadata (e.g., tables exposed via OTBI, BIP, and Oracle Cloud Services)
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
