Job Description:

DXC Technology is a global leader in mission‑critical IT services and digital transformation. We bring together people with diverse backgrounds, ideas, and experiences to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers around the world.

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Event Program Manager to manage and support the production of third‑party hosted and corporate events that drive demand generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented event professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments, enjoys creative problem‑solving, and wants to play a central role in shaping memorable event experiences for a global technology organisation.

If you’re passionate about bringing people together and creating standout customer experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Overview

As an Event Program Manager, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to plan, execute, and evaluate events that support DXC’s business objectives. You’ll manage budgets, oversee logistics, collaborate with marketing and sales teams, and ensure each event delivers an excellent experience and strong business outcomes.

We welcome candidates with a variety of events backgrounds — especially those who may not meet every requirement but are eager to learn, grow, and contribute.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Manage DXC’s presence at global third‑party hosted events and tradeshows
  • Lead large-scale event planning in partnership with sales, marketing, and product teams
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure event strategy aligns with purpose, audience, venue, and budget
  • Manage designated event workstreams and provide updates to the broader planning team
  • Ensure logistics planning and event timelines are well-organised, consistent, and communicated clearly

Project & Budget Management

  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and strong ROI
  • Oversee contracts, vendor delivery, and onsite coordination
  • Provide detailed post‑event reporting, analysing success metrics and insights to shape future participation

Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, guiding teams through timelines, expectations, and onsite processes
  • Work closely with sales teams onsite to support lead capture, customer engagement, and follow-up motions
  • Lead cross-functional alignment while maintaining a calm, organised approach under tight deadlines

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current on event trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Recommend innovative event formats, approaches, and experiences
  • Advocate for customer‑centric event design and inclusive engagement strategies

Ways of Working

  • Succeed in a fully remote environment when not onsite at events
  • Demonstrate independence, ownership, and strong organisational skills
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones when required

Qualifications

We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every listed qualification. Skills, potential, and lived experience matter.

Required

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are a strong plus
  • Several years of experience in event program management or similar roles
  • Strong experience with third‑party events and tradeshows
  • Technical proficiency with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Asana) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational and multi‑tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team
  • Comfort working across global time zones

Preferred

  • Exceptional project management and attention to detail
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Creative problem-solving and ability to design memorable event experiences
  • Ability to build relationships with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Experience designing events for diverse audiences and customer communities
  • Strategic thinking with strong tactical execution
  • Willingness to work flexibly based on international event schedules

If this opportunity inspires you, we encourage you to apply—even if your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification. At DXC, we value diverse perspectives and believe great ideas come from everywhere. Let’s explore what we can achieve together.

At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success. Our work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support wellbeing, productivity, individual work styles, and life circumstances. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
