Strengthen our team as our SAP Fiori Technical Lead (UI5 & S/4HANA) / UX Architect
Location: Home based with travel to client sites/workshops, UK only
Vetting: Require eligibility for Security Clearance and be sole UK National.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled SAP Fiori Technical Lead (UI5 & S/4HANA) to lead the design, development, and delivery of modern Fiori/UI5 applications within our S/4HANA landscape.
This role requires strong UI5 expertise, solid backend integration skills (OData/CDS/RAP), and the ability to guide developers and shape SAP UX strategy.
Basically, you would begin in pre-sales, so would be more technical and architecture, then move into management and consulting, e.g. when you win a project you would then manage a UX Designer, Fiori Developers, and be able to design a SAP UX strategy with the customer. Its quite a leadership position.
What You’ll Do:

Lead the design, development, and architecture of SAP Fiori and UI5 applications

Build custom UI5 apps, extend standard Fiori apps, and configure Fiori Launchpad (catalogs, groups, tiles, target mappings)

Develop and integrate OData services, CDS Views, and support RAP based applications

Work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive UI/UX solutions

Review and guide development team’s code for performance, quality, and best practices

Troubleshoot UI5 performance, browser issues, and optimize front-end performance

Collaborate with backend teams for ABAP, CDS, and OData enhancements

Support S/4HANA project delivery: workshops, technical specs, testing, deployment

Ensure adherence to SAP Fiori guidelines, security, and UX standards
What We Are Looking For:

Extensive SAP UI5/Fiori development experience or as SAP UX Architect that can lead SAP FIori developers

Strong skills in UI5, Fiori, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, debugging tools

Hands-on development with CDS Views (including UI annotations)

Experience with OData services (SAP Gateway), BOPF, RAP framework

Good understanding of S/4HANA architecture and Fiori extensibility

Presales and consultancy experience

Experience guiding developers and leading frontend workstreams

Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction
Desired Skills

SAP BTP / CAP / Cloud Foundry experience

Experience with mobility, responsive UI5 apps, or hybrid apps

Understanding of ABAP coding concepts (for collaboration)

Knowledge of APO or other SAP modules (advantage, not mandatory)
