Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Product Architect plays a critical role in the innovation and successful launch of new cybersecurity products within a managed security services environment. This role owns research, prototyping, and engineering of combined solutions leveraging partner technologies, integrating new services into the modular SOC architecture, and working closely with delivery and partner teams to continuously improve offerings. The Cybersecurity Product Architect leads POCs with emerging technologies and startups, thoroughly tests new offerings before operational handoff, and drives collaboration across multiple stakeholders to maintain competitive advantage and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Prototyping

Conduct in-depth research on emerging cybersecurity technologies and partner capabilities to identify potential new service additions.

Develop prototypes and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) to evaluate feasibility, performance, value, and integration requirements for innovative solutions.

Collaborate with R&D and threat intelligence teams to ensure alignment with evolving threat landscapes and customer needs.
Solution Engineering & Integration

Architect and engineer cybersecurity solutions, integrating features and capabilities from strategic technology partners.

Integrate new products into DXC’s modular SOC infrastructure, ensuring seamless interoperability, scalability, and automated workflows.

Lead complex integration efforts that encompass multi-vendor environments, driving internal enablement by creating detailed technical documentation, integration playbooks, and automation scripts.

Act as a subject matter expert to support internal engineering teams and delivery staff in understanding, deploying, and optimizing integrated solutions.

Coordinate battle testing of new offerings under realistic operational scenarios before handover to ensure regulatory requirements, robustness, scalability, and performance standards are met.
Partner Collaboration & Innovation

Engage with technology partners and startups to explore joint innovation opportunities and conduct feasibility assessments.

Lead PoCs with partner solutions to validate technology fit, performance, and operational efficiency before broader adoption.

Manage technical relationships with partners to ensure smooth integration, issue resolution, and ongoing feature enhancements.
Operational Enablement, Delivery Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Partner closely with service delivery teams to ensure new products and integrations are smoothly transitioned into operational environments.

Collaborate with delivery and customer success teams to gather real-world feedback, identify improvement areas, and implement enhancements that improve reliability and customer satisfaction.

Partner with product managers to develop and deliver technical training, onboarding materials, and enablement sessions to empower delivery, solutioning, and sales teams to successfully adopt and support new services.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work in concert with product management, engineering, solutioning, sales, marketing, and delivery teams to synchronize efforts for successful new product launches.

Provide expert technical guidance to sales and pre-sales teams in client engagements related to new cybersecurity solutions.

Contribute detailed technical insights to enablement and training programs for internal and partner teams.
Core Technical Skills

Proficient in cybersecurity architecture and integration technologies, with deep familiarity of SOC, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and cloud-native security platforms.

Strong skills in solution prototyping, API integration, automation scripting, and modular service design.

Solid understanding of partner technology ecosystems, security frameworks, and threat detection methodologies.

Experience with proof-of-concept design, testing methodologies, and operational validation processes.

Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, sales, and delivery.

Skilled at managing multiple concurrent technical projects with a focus on timely delivery and quality assurance.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $139,200 – $289,000.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
