Overview
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for leading and driving the performance of the sales team to achieve revenue targets and support overall business growth. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership, focusing on building strong client relationships, developing sales strategies, and mentoring sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to optimize sales performance
Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
Negotiate high-value deals and oversee contract closing
Implement best practices, processes, and tools to improve sales efficiency
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior sales or sales leadership role
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
