Power Platform Expert

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Power Platform expert to join our DEOS team. This is a 100% remote position. The candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions using the full suite of Power Platform tools and work closely with stakeholders to understand needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications and automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development best practices, a proven track record of successful Power Platform implementations, and experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

How the Power Platform Expert will make an impact:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions leveraging Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, including the configuration and utilization of data gateways for secure data connectivity.

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Develop custom connectors and integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure services, third-party APIs).

• Design and implement complex workflows and business process automation using Power Automate.

• Create insightful and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Manage and administer Power Platform environments, including security, data policies, and governance.

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best practices to junior developers and team members.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power Platform solutions.

• Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features, updates, and best practices.

• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users and administrators.

• Follow software development best practices to facilitate collaboration, feature enhancement, issue tracking, testing, development, and production deployment related to Power Platform solutions.

• Review existing repositories and delivery methodologies and recommend optimizations or alternative DevSecOps platform(s) and protocols to enhance long-term sustainment

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Cloud Engineer Principal must have:
● Security clearance level: Secret

● Certification: Current 8570 IAT II certification (CompTIA Security+ CE)

● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field, OR equivalent experience in lieu of degree
● Experience: 8+ years of related experience
● Technical Skills:

• Proven expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.

• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, and API integrations.

• Familiarity with SharePoint Online and its integration with Power Platform.

• Experience with Agile software development is a plus.

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
