As a Sr Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Messaging Architect within JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Technology, Client Services team, you will be a technical expert specializing in messaging architectures for distributed systems and modern data platforms. Our global team collaborates with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative, cloud-based solutions leveraging a wide range of open-source technologies. Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with teams and applications across the company to design and prototype new messaging implementations
• Help clients troubleshoot their implementations and integrate the product within their ecosystem
• Serve as a trusted advisor to users throughout the firm, supporting areas from asset management to fraud detection in one of the world’s largest and most respected enterprise IT organizations.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the rapidly evolving landscape of database technologies, streaming platforms, and integration tools.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• 5+ years of software development and architecture experience in Java
• 3+ years of customer facing experience in a technical role
• 3+ years of big data experience and hands-on expertise with at least one messaging platform (e.g., Kafka, Flink, Kinesis, Pulsar).
• Experience with traditional messaging systems (such as RabbitMQ, IBM MQ) and a solid working knowledge of SQL.
• Proficiency with Linux environments.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to visualize and explain complex concepts to audiences at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

• Experience designing and supporting scalable, highly available distributed systems (lock-free concurrency, multi-region, P99, paxos & raft)
