As a Product Manager in Infrastructure Platforms, you will help lead the strategy and agile methodologies to reposition the firm’s massive virtual desktop estate, delivering capabilities and features that will delight our internal users. You leverage your financial service experience to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, create a strong risk posture, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
Job responsibilities
- Oversees the strategy, requirements definition, product roadmap and backlog prioritization for the IaaS estate that hosts the firm’s virtual desktop environment
- Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, scalability, and reliability to support growth
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product evolution
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
- Experience in large scale platform migrations - Hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V, Openshift)
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- Champion a culture of customer-centricity, collaboration, and continuous improvement across product, engineering, and technical delivery teams
- Strong understanding of modern product management practices, such as discovery, design thinking, prototyping, journey mapping, competitive analysis, addressable market segmentation, prioritization, and roadmap development.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop others, both individually and at scale.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex concepts clear and actionable.
- Strong analytical and systems thinking skills - able to connect day-to-day practices to organizational strategy and outcomes.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Recognized thought leader within a related field
- Experience working in technical product management or within infrastructure product domains.
- Experience in Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes and multi-cloud (public & private)
- Experience and certifications in AI – ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Copilot
