Job summary

As an Executive Director in Business Banking Lending Finance, you will lead a high-performing team that delivers pricing analysis, forecasting support, and management reporting across retail and wholesale lending portfolios. You will translate financial performance into actionable insights that help leaders make informed decisions. You will provide finance leadership on pricing initiatives from concept through implementation and ongoing monitoring. You will develop business cases that quantify growth and efficiency opportunities while ensuring strong governance and controls.


Job responsibilities

  • Own core pricing economics by governing key economic, capital, and expense assumptions and delivering decision-ready analysis for product strategy business cases.
  • Partner with Product, Credit Decisioning, and Risk teams to lead finance support for lending pricing strategy from concept through implementation and ongoing monitoring.
  • Evaluate relationship-based pricing and discounts through economic assessments, including profitability, shareholder value added, and return on equity, and document recommendations.
  • Lead pricing governance forums by coordinating input across product, credit decisioning, field teams, legal, risk, compliance, and fair lending partners, and track decisions through execution.
  • Manage refresh cycles for pricing parameters to ensure timely updates to rate grids, floors and ceilings, segmentation, and other pricing levers.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and tooling with finance modeling partners, ensuring strong controls and sustainable documentation.
  • Own issue remediation by driving action plans and corrections when control gaps or model issues are identified.
  • Drive ad hoc analyses and deep dives on key business questions, including pricing tests to assess trade-offs across rate, volume, risk, and profitability.
  • Lead and develop a team of analytical professionals supporting reporting, analysis, and day-to-day partnership for product and credit decisioning stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, analytics, pricing, or business management.
  • Experience leading teams, with direct people management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to solve complex problems using data-driven analysis.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence partners at multiple levels.
  • Experience developing business cases and recommendations that connect analysis to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data analytics capability including data mining and manipulation.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present clearly and tell a story with data.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, support automation, and partner effectively with product teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a well-organized, solutions-oriented approach.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience with lending products and pricing, including rate grids, floors and ceilings, segmentation, and pricing parameter governance.
  • Experience partnering with risk, legal, compliance, and fair lending teams in a pricing or product environment.
  • Experience building or overseeing pricing models and analytics tooling with strong control standards.
  • Familiarity with wholesale and retail lending portfolios and profitability frameworks used in financial performance assessment.
