OUR MISSION
The mission of the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy is to regulate the profession and practice of pharmacy in the interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the state of Louisiana by restricting the entry into the practice of pharmacy to those persons meeting the minimum qualifications for licensure and by monitoring and regulating the professional practice of its licensees to ensure their compliance with the laws and rules governing the practice of pharmacy.

- Three years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Specification

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:
Procurement of equipment, supplies, and services
Coordinate record retention program
Monitor building systems and schedule repairs
Manage loss prevention program, which includes selecting safety topics, conducting evacuation drills, and maintaining maintenance records
Manage inventory of movable property
Coordinate outgoing mail and printing orders
Assist agency employees and Board members with troubleshooting equipment and software issues
Appointment Type: Probational
Career Progression: This position participates in a Career Progression Group.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
