The MSecAI Generalised Agents Team operates as an incubations unit within Microsoft Security, embracing a startup-like culture to drive innovation in AI. Our mission is to build agentic systems that generalise across tasks, tools, and domains—enabling secure, scalable, and intelligent automation. We thrive on rapid experimentation, lean execution, and deep technical ownership, crafting AI products that redefine how security is delivered and experienced. • 10+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, deep learning, or agentic systems, with a strong track record of shipping AI solutions.
• Proven experience (2+ years) leading engineering teams in AI product development, preferably within startup or incubation-style environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; PhD preferred. - Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow; familiarity with agentic workflows and LLM integration.
• Demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end product development in fast-paced, ambiguous settings with a bias for execution.

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team focused on building agentic AI systems for security applications.
• Foster a startup-like culture of agility, ownership, and rapid experimentation to accelerate product innovation.
• Drive end-to-end development of AI-powered products, from ideation and prototyping to scalable deployment. Collaborate across research, product, and engineering teams to integrate cutting-edge AI into real-world scenarios.
