Overview

The Healthcare Solution Engineer works directly with Sales, Product Engineering, and Solution Marketing teams to demonstrate, develop, and configure AI based healthcare solutions. This role is responsible for engaging customers throughout the sales cycle, supporting implementation and service delivery, and maintaining robust demonstration environments. The Healthcare Solution Engineer ensures seamless customer experience, drives business outcomes, and contributes to ongoing platform, application, and process improvement.

This role requires travel and is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years healthcare technical roles, electronic health records platforms, workflow, direct patient care, or sales experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years healthcare technical roles, electronic health records platforms, workflow, direct patient care, or sales experience
    • OR 5+ years healthcare technical roles, electronic health records platforms, workflow, direct patient care, or sales experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years clinical experience or experience and understanding in supporting, designing, or optimizing clinician workflow.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • 6+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Microsoft 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
  • Familiarity with cloud and web technologies, speech recognition, revenue-cycle technologies.
  • Developed competencies with Microsoft 365, Power BI, Visio, Azure databases, JIRA, configuration files, Postman, MIRTH, HL7 Standard messaging, and related.
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment, with adaptability.
  • Experience training within clinician workflows and practice management.
  • Experience with educating or training non-technical team members.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Basic understanding of Voice Biometrics, Speech Recognition, web development technologies (Java, Tagging, Analytics), AI and analytics.

Solution Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Solution Demonstration

  • Deliver tailored, value-driven demos for healthcare applications.
  • Build credibility through industry, technical, and customer knowledge.
  • Align solutions with business needs and lead post-implementation discussions.
  • Design demo use cases for varied market segments.
  • Drive technical wins and resolve blockers by engaging product teams.

Technical Solution Design & Configuration

  • Build and manage demo environments with focus on interoperability and cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product roadmaps with market needs.
  • Track engineering tasks and prepare for new releases.

Sales Support & Strategic Input

  • Support sales by capturing customer metrics and current state.
  • Gather and share competitive insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Shape win plans and tailor messaging based on customer and market context.

Partner Enablement

  • Facilitate partner collaboration and resource alignment.
  • Identify and address partner capability gaps.

Continuous Learning & Industry Engagement

  • Stay current on industry trends and product updates.
  • Represent the company at events and lead internal knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor peers and contribute to internal communities.

Process Improvement & Team Collaboration

  • Drive process improvements and share technical knowledge.
  • Ensure tools and processes remain secure and up to date.
