As a Senior Technical Program Manager - Azure Core, you will lead and drive large scale cloud capacity growth and product availability across the world to enable customer success. You will play a pivotal role in enabling customers to operate at scale while meeting the cloud promises of security, quality, high availability, privacy, compliance and data residency. You will partner with engineering teams across Azure to define strategy, align roadmaps and deliver accelerated growth for customers and Azure.
This opportunity will allow you to learn how hyperscale clouds are built and operated and to drive programs and engineering efficiencies across the company.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of proficiency managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 2+ years of analytical skills, combined with experience solving complex business and technical problems.
- 2+ years of experience building cloud applications, and knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
- 1+ year(s) of experience with Cloud, system architecture and design, including considerations such as latency and high availability
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- You’ll lead strategic programs to accelerate Azure growth driving scalability and efficiency through automation across Microsoft cloud services.
- You’ll partner with Software Engineering to design technical solutions across feature areas. You’ll also identify risks and propose data-based mitigations.
- You’ll define success criteria and create relationships for implementing features for complex cross-functional projects. You’ll own the delivery of complex, cross-team initiatives that span multiple divisions with clarity and purpose.
- You’ll deliver on roadmap for multiple feature groups, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation plan, and manage governance programs, track and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
- You will drive continuous improvements to deliver efficiency and time to market improvement. You’ll also lead teams to partner with other departments to collect performance metrics, drive customer support, and lead direct customer engagements.
- Define program vision, strategy, and execution plans in collaboration with cloud service partner teams across Microsoft.
- Build and manage program-level dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring leadership visibility and data-driven decision-making.
