Purview for A365 is a foundational pillar of Microsoft’s AI security and compliance strategy, protecting how Copilot, agents, and AI workloads interact with enterprise data. This team sits at the intersection of AI innovation, security, compliance, and trust, and is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end customer outcomes across data protection, governance, and policy enforcement for AI experiences. Operating under the Squad Model, the team is organized around clear ownership of usage, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes, with tight collaboration across Engineering, UX, Trust, CELA, CXE, and partner product teams. The mission is not just feature delivery, but driving adoption, trust, and measurable customer value at scale as AI becomes core to Microsoft 365. We are looking for a strong Product Manager to own and drive critical product areas within Purview for A365, and accountable for translating customer and market needs into high‑impact product outcomes. The Product Manager acts as a CPO of a start up, is responsible for defining product vision and strategy, prioritizing investments, and driving execution from concept through launch and iteration. This role requires deep partnership with the Engineering, and a strong ability to balance customer empathy, data‑driven decision‑making, and security fundamentals

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Qualifications - Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or preferred qualifications:
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
