The Autonomous Vehicles (AV) team is searching for a highly motivated, highly technical Product and Program Management leader to lead and grow a rockstar team and build awesome technology. Our mission is to build and scale self-driving technology at light speed – from L2 driving to L4 robotaxis. We work with multiple OEM partners globally, and our software will be used by millions of customers worldwide. If this sounds like an exciting challenge, read on!

This role is responsible for all aspects of NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle planning and controls software (e.g., technology like Alpamayo, classical safety monitors, L2 planners, parking planners, and more). This is a mixed role requiring deep understanding of the technical aspects of AV planning and controls technology and how they relate to overall driving experience. This role will be responsible for prioritizing the "right problems" for teams to work on. You will work with leading experts to design and effectively deliver industry leading solutions for these problems. Ultimately you will need to develop a high performing team which can define and deliver against the highly ambitious technology product roadmaps we are delivering on to make the future of self driving vehicles a reality.

What you'll be doing:

  • Hands on leadership of a team coordinating projects, partnering with tech leads to understand and solve sophisticated planning and controls challenges, including AI based planners.

  • Drive and be responsible for delivery of your technology portfolios, in partnership with your engineering leader counterparts.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with teams and internal customers to deliver those roadmaps against extremely ambitious timelines and goals: build processes and frameworks to amplify team performance, communicate and resolve bottlenecks, address issues, and measure outcomes.

  • Clearly represent the group and technical product status and program execution to senior executives and OEM partners.

What we need to see:

  • Driven, hands on, leader and people manager with strong skills in communication, influencing, and multi-functional team building across time zones

  • Strong technical skills in robotics motion planning or controls, including experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or related projects which involve heavily matrixed sophisticated systems

  • Experience managing and growing technical product or program management teams across autonomous vehicle or robotics domains.

  • Creative problem solver who can handle ambiguous situations, reach consensus, and make decisions

  • Execution focus, with experience bringing new and innovative products and technologies into reality

  • 12+ overall years of recent Product or Program Management experience and 5+ years of people management experience

  • BS/MS Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Proven track record of growing both technical product or technical program management teams in the autonomous vehicles or robotics space.

  • Relevant domain knowledge/experience and a proven technical background

  • Experience in a fast-paced AI company or Autonomous Vehicle company

  • Showing you always strive to learn new things, are motivated to solve hard problems, and that you care about the end product

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 240,000 USD - 379,500 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

Applications for this job will be accepted at least until March 16, 2026.
